What Is Digital Marketing?
Some high level answers to the question "What is digital marketing?" will be answered by me Thursday, July 30th at 4PM at Morgan State University. I'm now working with the University of Maryland Small Business Development Centers to help folks successfully start their new companies. You can register here.
I'm excited to present some digital marketing and SEO basics to new business owners, those who are getting ready to launch a new business, and anyone who's entertained the thought of going into business for herself.
From 4 - 6PM, I'll cover these topics:
- The benefits of SEO
- Finding the right keywords for your website
- Writing content for the human reader that is search-engine friendly
- Blogging for your business
- Social media marketing
- Measuring website performance with Google analytics
- Discovering website issues with Google Search Console
I'll make this interactive by bringing up some websites and showing some examples of how to use digital marketing, along with SEO to get your target audience to your web pages from search results and social media sites. You'll walk away with some new ideas about how you can boost your website's search engine visibility to your target audience.
